The method of making preserved flowers

How to make eternal flowers

Method 1:

Materials: Fresh flowers, AB liquid, scissors, sealable containers, dye.

Steps:

1. Choose flowers

Choose your favorite fresh flowers, making sure to keep them fresh and ensure they are not wet. This is very important.

2. Trim the flowers

Trim the flower stems to the desired length and cut off any excess leaves based on the number of leaves you want to keep. If there are no specific requirements, keep the stems about 2 centimeters long.

3. Soak the flowers

Pour liquid A into a sealable container, ensuring the liquid completely submerges the flowers, then seal it. Soak for 24 hours. After the time is up, open the sealed jar. If the color of the flowers has not completely turned white, continue soaking. At this point, prepare another sealed jar and pour liquid B into it. Immediately place the flowers taken from liquid A into liquid B. The exposure to air should not exceed 1 minute. Soak in liquid B for 36 hours.

4. Take out and dry

When the time is up, take the flowers out and place them in a well-ventilated, dry area away from sunlight to dry naturally. They will be completely dry in about a week.

5. Dyeing production

At this point, the flowers have become immortal flowers and can be dyed according to your desired color. After dyeing, it takes about 5 days to dry completely.

Precautions:

The above method is suitable for home production; if you want to expose the flower stem part, dye it separately from the flowers. The flowers can be dyed first, and then the stems can be dyed after drying. The AB liquids and dyes mentioned above can be purchased online or in physical stores.

Method 2:

Materials:

・Fresh flowers (roses are recommended for beginners)

・Ethanol for disinfection (used as a decolorizing solution)

・Refined glycerin (used as a coloring solution)

・Pen ink (used for coloring the flowers)

・Lidded container (for soaking in liquid)

Steps:

1. Decolorization

1) Cut off 2-3 cm from the bottom of the flower stem.

2) Pour alcohol into the container, cover it, and soak the fresh flowers for about a day.

3) After dehydration and decolorization are complete, take the flowers out of the alcohol.

2. Coloring

1) Immediately place the extracted flowers into a container filled with glycerin. (Mix glycerin and water in a 2:1 ratio.)

2) Choose your favorite color and add a few drops of ink.

3) Heat using a microwave or similar (35 degrees).

4) Just like that, place the flowers in the heated container for 1 day.

Note: Avoid direct sunlight!

3. Drying

There are many methods for drying eternal flowers; they can be placed on a table or other locations to dry, with a drying time of 3-7 days.
